Hediye

Fevzi Ekinci was born in 1945 in Selim Laloglu Village of Kars. He studied primary school in his village, and secondary and high school at Erzurum Construction Institute. While studying engineering in Istanbul at night, he also worked at the Ist Regional Directorate of Construction Affairs of the Ministry of Public Works for eight years during the day.
He met his wife, Hediye, in 1972. He became a Civil Engineer in 1974 and completed his military service in Erzincan 59th Artillery Brigade with the rank of second lieutenant. He founded his own company in 1983 and retired in 2006. He is also one of the partners of Cem Media and continues to be a member of the Board of Directors of this institution. Ekinci, who currently lives in Sariyer, Istanbul, has three daughters and a son and two grandchildren. He has a poetry book called "Wish". His second book, HEDIYE Gifted Her Life, is very valuable to him.
