Havva Malone earned her master’s degree in physics from Missouri University of Science and Technology. She gained valuable experience as a research assistant, particularly in the Solid State Lab at Istanbul and Sakarya Universities. Currently, she serves as an educator in the Rolla Public Schools and as an adjunct physics instructor at East Central College. Passionate about working with children, she thrives on creating “aha” moments that inspire learning. Malone delivered a TEDx talk titled Mathematics in Our World: A Visual Mathematics Photo Album, showcasing her love for making math accessible and engaging. She also founded and coached a FIRST LEGO League robotics team and continues to contribute to FLL as a robotics judge. In her free time, she plays pickleball and badminton, staying active and connected to her community.

Huseyin Sahiner received his doctorate degree in the nuclear engineering field after he finished his undergrad and master’s program at Cukurova University. Dr. Sahiner, who had been a teaching and research assistant during his PhD degree, has been working at Sinop University Nuclear Engineering Department as a faculty member for nearly 7 years. He is working on Monte Carlo simulations and neutronic analysis as well as mathematical modelling. Dr. Sahiner has contributed as a researcher, educator, and coordinator to various engineering education projects.

Adem Malone earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science with a minor in mathematics from Missouri University of Science and Technology. His career began at Cerner Corporation (later known as Oracle Health), where he contributed to the development of patient sign-in and scheduling software, enhancing healthcare efficiency. Currently, Malone works as a Real-Time Embedded Software Engineer at Boeing, where he develops software solutions that support manufacturing operations across multiple Boeing sites in the U.S. In addition to his technical expertise, he plays a key role in organizing and mentoring team members, demonstrating a commitment to both professional growth and collaboration. A passionate problem solver, Malone competed in numerous math competitions during his youth. Today, in his spare time, he channels his creativity and technical skills into video game development using Unity, combining his love for technology with his flair for innovation.
